Where you are right now

You're not the only one feeling this

If any of this feels close to home, you're in good company — and you don't have to work it out on your own. Counselling gives you space to understand what you're feeling and find a way forward.

01

Anxious and on edge

Your mind won't switch off, and worry or panic follows you through the day.

02

Going through the motions

Everything feels flat, heavy or pointless, and just getting going is hard.

03

Running on empty

You're holding it all together, but you're exhausted and close to burnout.

04

Never quite good enough

A harsh inner critic, low confidence, or always putting everyone else first.

05

Disconnected from people you love

The same arguments, growing distance, or feeling unheard by those closest to you.

06

Carrying a loss you can't put down

Grief, bereavement or a change that's left a space you're still adjusting to.

07

Held back by the past

Something from before still shapes how safe or settled you feel today.

08

Unsure who you are right now

A big life change has left you questioning your direction or sense of self.

Starting is simpler than you think

Reaching out can feel like a big step, so here's exactly what happens — no pressure, and no surprises.

  1. 1

    Reach out

Send a message or give me a call. It's completely confidential, and you're under no obligation to book anything.

  2. 2

    Have a free chat

We'll talk for 30 minutes, free of charge, so you can share what's going on and see whether we feel like the right fit.

  3. 3

    Start feeling supported

When you're ready, we'll agree a regular time that suits you and begin — usually weekly — at a pace that feels right.

What's possible

Imagine feeling like yourself again

No. You can self-refer directly — you do not need a GP referral to see a private counsellor or psychotherapist. Simply get in touch to arrange a free initial consultation.

This varies between individuals. Some people benefit from short-term focused work (6–12 sessions); others prefer longer-term counselling. Progress is reviewed regularly and you can end at any time.

Yes. All sessions are completely confidential. I work within the BACP Ethical Framework and only break confidentiality in very limited circumstances involving serious risk of harm. The limits are explained fully in the first session.

Research shows online counselling is equally effective as face-to-face therapy for most issues. Many clients prefer the convenience and comfort of attending from home. Both options are available so you can choose what suits you best.

The first session is a chance to get to know each other, talk about what has brought you to counselling, and begin to agree what you'd like to work on. There's no pressure — nothing you are expected to discuss before you feel ready.
