About Me

I am a caring, calm and nurturing person who believes in exploring how to make positive changes and allowing you the time to feel truly listened to. I work with compassion and kindness, at your pace,  whilst respecting your values and experience without judgement or shame.

After experiencing counselling myself, I understand how it can help you to gain perspective and become empowered to make decisions to feel more in control in your life. I have gained extensive experience working with young people aged 14 - 24 with Heads Together Youth Counselling. I have also trained in grief and loss counselling with a local hospice St. Catherines. I have also worked as a volunteer counsellor with Horsham and Crawley counselling group offering long term counselling support to the community.

I am a qualified practitioner (Dip.HE) and have trained integratively (CBT, Person-centred and Psychodynamic), which means I can draw upon the most suitable model for you and tailor the work where appropriate. I will always put you first to build an appropriate relationship whilst upholding moral qualities.

As a Registered member (MBACP) of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) I adhere to their Ethical Framework to provide you with the highest standard of professional therapy, and am committed to continued professional development. . I have gained experience working with a number of organisations including Heads Together Youth Counselling, Age UK, Horsham and Crawley Counselling Group and St Catherines Hospice.
